Every year the United Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County, Inc holds a county-wide Trivia Challenge event. Trivia Challenge is an academic fundraising event that combines education, philanthropy and a good time. Trivia Challenge, currently celebrating its 28th Anniversary, takes place on the Elementary, Junior High, and High School levels. It is one of UCPN’s most successful and exciting fundraisers. The competition is known as the event “where students with great minds and good hearts raise funds for UCPN.” Participating students, in teams of four, take the 100-question Trivia Challenges written test. It covers a wide variety of subjects from academics to popular culture. The test takes approximately 45 minutes to complete. Students raise money for UCPN by asking their family and friends to sponsor them to take the test and we offer students many exciting fundraising prizes. The highest scoring team from each school is then invited to compete in the county-wide Trivia Challenge Championship held at their agency. This year, the following students from Kramer Lane, under Mrs. Caliguri's guidance, entered the contest:

Fourth graders came in 3rd place in Nassau County with David Hedquist, Anthony Ippolito, and Jonathan Friedrich.

Fifth graders came in 7th place in Nassau County with Jacklyn Lacroix, Karissa Sanfratello, Juzer Vasi and Alex Dupre (CBS).

We are proud of their accompishment
