Our John F. Kennedy Middle School was the first school in the nation to be named after the President upon his death. On November 26, 1963 the Bethpage Board of Education renamed the school. 50 years later, students, teachers and administrators all worked together to commemorate that fateful day in Dallas. Our Gym became a museum to JFK and the 1960's. Later in the day we have a formal Re-Dedication Ceremony. Thanks to all the students, teachers, administrators and parents for the hard work and special thanks to Mr. Fullerton for his vision on commemorating this day
