The JFK Library celebrated Thanksgiving a week early with more than 100 students participating in crafting activities during lunch periods. Students made Thanksgiving cornucopia placemats and paper bag turkey centerpieces. The feathers were literally flying and creative juices were flowing as students designed and decorated their artwork. The two-day event was well-received by the students and the library staff plans to hold similar crafting sessions in the future.
