Mrs. Saur and Mrs. Curran have done it again! In March, they conducted a two-part 21st Century Scholar activity in which students explored India by creating a physical map of this fascinating, subcontinent of Asia. Session one entailed molding homemade clay into landforms unique to the region such as the Himalaya Mountains to the north, the sacred Ganges River, and the Eastern and Western Ghats of the south. During session two, maps were painted and labeled to complete the journey. The scholars should be commended on a job well-done!
