Ethics Team Headed to Nationals

For the second consecutive year, the Bethpage High School Ethics Team took first place for the Long Island/Manhattan region at the annual Long Island High School Ethics Bowl. Competing against 24 teams from public and private schools in the area, the team qualified to compete at the National High School Ethics Bowl in April. Pictured from left are the members of this year’s winning team: Jack Carney, Andrei Aziz, captain Gina Aliberti, Emma Lammers and Marco Cunha. Not pictured is team member Josh Danziger. Gina and Emma will be part of the team that competes at nationals, and will be joined by seniors Emily Katz, Jillian Leavey and Lynne Richardson. The team is coached and advised by Wendy Way. The district wishes the team and Ms. Way the best of luck at nationals in April.
