On Wednesday, March 23, 2016, some students from the Regal Eagle Robotics Team accompanied by the team co-adviser, Mr. Zabell, visited Google Headquarters in New York City for a meeting with some lead engineers. After a brief presentation on the club and what they hope to accomplish in the future, the team got to drive their robot, Scattershot.  The team later sat down with the engineers to discuss improvements that could be made on the robot, and some technology that could be implemented on future robots. After discussing the mechanical aspects of the robot, they spoke to Katy Kasmai, founder of Team Exponent, on how to effectively prototype and create high impact teams.  The Regal Eagles hope to be able to work closely with some of the highly driven engineers and program managers they met during their visit for future build seasons.
