On Friday, October 28th, Nassau County Assistant District Attorney, James Cole, presented the program Choices and Consequences to the 11th grade. The program highlighted for students the dangers of drugged, drunk and reckless driving. The assistant district attorney described in great detail actual cases on Long Island and the tragic results. As part of the program, a Nassau County police officer explained to students the consequences associated with driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. This program delivered a very powerful message to students to be safe and wise behind the wheel of an automobile.
