Second-grade students at Kramer Lane Elementary School researched an historic person of interest and created a biography project on them. Students then dressed the part of the notable figure and spoke in character during the school’s first-ever Wax Museum for parents and peers. Families, along with kindergarten and first-graders visited the event and were asked to push “play” on a button to hear about figures of interest in the museum. The event served to reinforce the student’s social studies curriculum and research skills, as well as practice their public speaking, in a fun and interactive way.
