The Bethpage Hall of Fame has announced its inductees for 2016:

  • Lenny Mulqueen- BHS Class of 1961, longtime President of the Central Park Historical Society
  • Joie Tyrrell- BHS Class of 1985, journalist for Newsday
  • Judith Claire Mitchell- BHS Class of 1970, novelist and Professor of Creative Writing at the University of Wisconsin
  • Bobby Macholz- A longtime volunteer for athletics
  • Signor Vincenzo Maio- Retired Italian teacher at BHS
  • Anita Disanza- Retired Spanish teacher at BHS
  • 1996 Lacrosse Team- Winners of the State Championship who will be the 20th anniversary of that accomplishment

 

The dinner in their honor will be held on Saturday, October 8 at 7PM at Bethpage High School.  All community members are invited.  The cost to attend is $75 and all proceeds go to the Bethpage Educational Foundation which supports our schools with scholarships, programs and enhancements.  You can find the invitation at: http://www.bethpage.ws/docs/1617/hof2016.pdf
