On Thursday, October 25th students from the 11th Grade attended the program Choices and Consequences. The program delivered a powerful message about the consequences of drunk or drugged driving. Students listened to a Nassau County Assistant District Attorney discuss specific cases that ended in tragedy because of poor choices by individuals behind the wheel of a car. A Nassau County Police Officer also was on hand to detail how law enforcement deals with reckless driving. In addition, students heard first hand accounts from people who made bad decisions on the roads that led to terrible situations. Choices and Consequences is part of our overall effort to help students be smart, safe and responsible young drivers.
