In order to celebrate Valentine's Day, a group of JFK students met to make chocolate for their loved ones. On February 4th and 11th, students met with Ms. Maloney, Ms. Okita, Ms. Pizzuto and Ms. Vitiello to learn all about making chocolate. Students watched a video that described how chocolate is made from picking the cocoa beans all the way to wrapping up our favorite Hershey's candies. Students were able to melt and mold their own chocolate pieces and created lollipops and pieces like hearts, teddy bears, dolphins, clowns, snowmen and much more. Everyone had a great time!
