On Sunday, November 17, 2019, John F. Kennedy Middle School's FIRST Lego League Robotics Team, RoboEagles, participated in their first scrimmage of the season at Portledge School where they had the opportunity to compete with eight other teams.  In a simplified format of what the team will expect at their qualifiers later this school year, the RoboEagles practiced with their robot to accomplish as many missions as possible and present on their core values.  The RoboEagles had a successful day and earned an Alliance Award as a finalist and were also recognized by the judges and event coordinators for their gracious professionalism.  Congratulations to all of the students on the RoboEagles and their coach, Ms. Gatanas on their successful day!  Special thanks to Ms. Dzenawager for assisting the RoboEagles!
