JFK Middle School participated in Bullying Prevention Awareness Week from February 19th-22nd. Each day the students viewed anti-bullying videos during Homeroom which were then followed up by activities created by teachers from the building’s anti-bullying committee.

On Thursday, February 21st our school dedicated the entire day to raising awareness about bullying. The students participated in a variety of workshops and activities on bullying and bullying prevention. Guest presenter Kylie Morgan performed for the students with her message about good decision making and anti–bullying. Mr. Schneider, Mr. Fullerton and the PPS staff conducted a student workshop on the school’s anti-bullying culture through the use of the documentary, Bully The Movie. The day concluded with the unveiling of a Bullying Awareness Banner.
