On March 11th, Alan Damiani, former student and class of 2006 graduate, spoke to all five Forensic Science classes. He recently earned a Masters degree in Anthropology and explained how helpful Anthropologists are in assisting the police in solving crimes. He demonstrated to the classes how ancestry, stature, gender and age can all be read from the bones. These parameters are crucial in finding an identifying to victims of foul play.
