25 students participated in a hands-on map making activity. They created a topographical map of India, home to over one billion people and the 2nd most populated country on earth. They used homemade clay and paint to create their map with its various landforms. This activity was open only to grade six students since it is part of their social studies curriculum. The activity took place on Tuesday March 5th and Tuesday March 12th , with Mrs. Saur, Mrs. Klein and Mrs. Curran lending a helpful hand.
