21st Century: Microloans Made

Congratulations to the Bethpage Benevolent Benefactors who raised $500 and loaned it to three entrepreneurs in developing nations- one in Nicaragua, one in Ghana and the other Azerbaijan. A very worthwhile program. The students reviewed hundreds of possible applicants and their requests and ideas. Thanks to Ms. Way for this great project that taught us economics, geography and empathy.
