Career Development |
It is recommended
and often required that any student interested in pursuing a career in a health-related
field (nursing, medical, veterinary, social work, etc.) acquire up to 100
hrs of volunteer work. The following
is a list of local sites that sponsor student volunteers.
(Below the
list of volunteer sites is a selection of links designed for career searches
or career education.)
Health Related Volunteer Sites
*All sites
require volunteers to have current physicals, immunizations, a letter of recommendation
from their school counselor, and to be above the age of 14. A working card is necessary for those students
who are under the age of sixteen.
