Hundreds of runners came out for the First Annual Bethpage 5K Run. It was a terrific showing of community support. Race Director Victor Macaluso did an outstanding job organizing the event. Then hundreds more moved into the Tara Costa Health and Wellness Fair where vendors had all kinds of items relating to healthy living. Tara Costa, a graduate of Bethpage High School, was a recent contestant on NBC's Biggest Loser. She wanted to give back to her community and helped to organize the day. All proceeds went to the Bethpage Educational Foundation. It was a terrific event and we appreciate the help of all the volunteers and all the runners who made it so special!
