American Heart Association

Another proud moment for Bethpage.  On Sunday, Bethpage Volleyball players volunteered to walk in the American Heart Association Walk helping Leah Olverd raise a considerable amount of money for a deserving cause.  At the conclusion of the walk another Bethpage student, Mary Ann Brown, received the Start! Lifestyle Change Award presented to her from the AHA.  Leah and friends raised OVER $3000. Many students and parents were there; Ms. DiPrima was so very proud of them, saying "It felt fantastic to hear the applause when the town of Bethpage was announced."
