Bethpage Students Participate in Video Conference with Civil Rights Pioneer
Students from Mr. Weber's Social Studies class joined students from around Long Island in a live chat with retired Air Force Reserves Maj. Gen. Joseph McNeil. McNeil was a pioneer on the front lines of the Civil Rights Movement in the 1960's and answered questions from Bethpage students as well as students from other districts. The experience was sponsored by Newsday.
