The 26th annual Nassau County Mathematics Tournament was held at SUNY Westbury on 2/6/09

There were 3 teams from Bethpage H.S. participating. 

In the lower division (grades 9 & 10) the team consisted of:  Patrick Cao (9), Jerry Kim (9), Holly Josephs (9), Dan Alanko(10) and Chris Stratis (10).  The team came in 7th place in Nassau County out of 41 teams.  Dan Alanko came in 3rd place in the individuals out of 113 10th grade. 

In the Upper Division (grades 11 & 12) There were two teams. 

Anthony Gargiulo (11), Hyun Jeong (11), Andrew Marell(11), Pin Gao (12), and Timothy Betancourt(11) were one team

Kevin Bickard (12), Dan Bloch(12), Gautam Dagur(12), Kevin Sackel(12), Stephen Kappel (12) were the other team.

The team of Bickard, Bloch, Dagur, Sackel, Kevin Bichard and Stephen Kappel tieing for 14th place.
