New Bethpage Athletic Complex!
The finishing touches are going on the new Bethpage Athletic Complex at BHS! It includes a new turf field (manufactured by SprintTurf), new lights (manufactured by Musco Lighting), a new track, new scoreboard (manufactured by Daktronics) and new visitors' bleachers! In Phase 2 of the project we will be adding home side bleachers, a new concession stand to be shared by Bethpage PAL and Bethpage Dad's Club and new bathroom facilities.
All of this was installed with great professionalism by Laser Industries! They did a fantastic job on a very tight timeline!
We are very grateful to the Town of Oyster Bay for making this happen! Supervisor John Venditto and the Town Board really took great interest in our community. This partnership allows the Town to use the Athletic Complex during those hours when the school district is not using the facility. So organizations like the Bethpage PAL will have a great place to practice and play all year round!
The Athletic Complex will be used by the district's Boys' and Girls' Soccer teams, the Boys' and Girls Lacrosse teams, the Track team and the Football team. It will also be used for Physical Education classes.
