Hands-on Science

Students at Bethpage High School now have a unique resource to use for science experiment- their very own pond. The pond was purchased last school year through a federal grant and is now being used for experiments testing hypotheses in determining temperature, light and pH at certain depths of the ponds. Using PASCO probes, the students are taking all kinds of measurements. The students enjoyed the hands-on learning style introduced by Mr. Inghliterra, Mr. Como and Ms. McGovern.
