First graders at Charles Campagne Elementary School continue a sweet holiday tradition. Students joined guest family members in the All Purpose room to construct Gingerbread masterpieces. Using milk cartons as molds, students added on icing, graham crackers and confections to construct gingerbread houses and trains. A favorite activity for students and adults alike, the tradition began several years ago. “There is also such a wonderful response from our families,” remarked Principal Angelita Cintado. “This activity is really about getting together and being creative. It is a wonderful way to get ready for the holiday break.”
