Bethpage Schools Honored for Energy Efficiency

Bethpage Schools received honors as for energy efficency. Two of the first 50 schools in New York State to receive this award are JFK Middle School and Bethpage High School. The efficiency is the result of recent building improvements including new lighting, the use of lighting sensors, new boilers and window tinting. As everyone's energy costs continue to climb, it is comforting to know that Bethpage is using less energy overall.
