TGIF@BHS

Bethpage High School hosted the first of its TGIF@BHS nights and it was a great success! Over 250 students attended! Athletic Director John Franchi organized the evening and arranged for activities that included basketball, dodgeball, ping pong, open pool and a live broadcast of the Yankee playoff game on the 16' screen in the auditorium! Everyone had a blast! Students were well mannered and quite respectful. All of them were asking when the next TGIF@BHS event would be! Mr. Franchi arranged for pizza for all the students and held a raffle drawing at the end of the night. Prizes included an iPod Touch, iTune cards, gift certificates to Pappardelles and Applebees! It was a great evening that was designed to give students a safe place to hang out on Friday nights with friends and where they could also make new friends.
