Giant Maps

Students from around the district got a very special geogrpahy lesson this week! Giant Maps came to town and they were spread all over the Middle School Gym. With the help of two geographers from BOCES, students walked the globe! The map of Asia allowed students to jump from country to country and learn about different topographical features. The program was coordinated by Ms. Janice Yale, Director of Science, and Mr. Kevin Fullerton, Director of Social Studies. It was fun and educational! Geographic literacy has been a priority of the school district and this definitely helped!
