Students Attend Talk by Former VP Al Gore

Thanks to our friends at Cablevision Power to Learn, a group of lucky middle and high school students were invited to hear former Vice President Al Gore speak at Radio City Music Hall. Mr. Gore discussed range of issues including the environment, the Iraq War and current presidential politics. He was humorous about how life has changed since leaving office and he was passionate about the responsibility young people have in facing environmental challenges. He urged them to rise to the occasion as an earlier generation did when faced with fascism. The students enjoyed the discussion and were grateful to Power to Learn.
