New Playgrounds Open!

This fall, students at the District's three elementary schools and JFK Middle School are enjoying new playground equipment with safety padding surfaces, thanks to the community's support of Proposition #2 on the May 2006 budget ballot. The lease/purchase agreement allowed the District to install the four new playgrounds by the end of October. The equipment will be paid for over a 10-year period as per the agreement, which minimizes the annual cost.
