Mr. Clark Receives Award

Mr. Terrence Clark, Assistant Superintendent for Instruction and Technology, received the Central Office Administrator of the Year Award from the InterCounty Teacher Resource Center. Mr. Clark was nominated by the Bethpage Congress of Teachers for his work in the area of professional development. Both Mrs. Karen Thomas, Presient of the BCT, and Dr. Richard Marsh, Superintendent of Schools, spoke about Mr. Clark. The ITRC is a partner of the Bethpage Schools in providing teachers with innovative courses. Mrs. Maureen Mendolia, a good friend of Mr. Clark and the Computer Aide at Kramer Lane School, also won the ParaProfessional of the Year Award! A special treat at the award night was the performance of the Bethpage Jazz Band under the direction of Mr. James Stehlik! Thanks to the Band and the teachers for nominating Mr. Clark!
