Ms. Barbara Garriel, a children’s author, conducted workshops with the sixth grade teams at JFK Middle School Library on April 27, 2009 and April 28, 2009. Through her use of engaging group activities and examples from her experiences as an author, Ms. Garriel was able to hone their writing skills.
