21st Century: Math in a Jar

JFK students who wanted to learn to bake were recently treated to an afternoon of calculating recipe conversions and measurements in Ms. Ramaglia’s classroom. Using the skills learned in math class, students were able to convert fractions and find the measurements needed to make delicious treats! After they converted the recipes, students were given the opportunity to measure all of the dry ingredients and make a jar to take home and bake when you wish! This 21st Century activity was so popular that Ms. Ramaglia will be having additional sessions for JFK students.
