MIX-IT-UP-DAYS AT JFK
On Monday, Nov. 9 and Tuesday, Nov. 10 JFK Middle School participated in Mix-It-Up Day during their lunch periods. The week was kicked off with Miss Match Day as students and staff wore clothing that did not match. During the four lunch periods students sat with someone new at the lunch table and competed in a variety of activities that encouraged each student to communicate and help one another. The event was a success as all of the students interacted with someone new and enthusiastically participated in the many different activities. The highlight of the two days was Mr. Suprenant singing Taylor Swift to the students and the 12 pizzas that were delivered by Ms. Bennardo to the winning teams. Thanks to Ms. Mackenzie, Ms. Tavolacci and Mr. Suprenant for planning the Mix-It-Up Days. All students and staff had fun meeting someone new and participating in the events.
