Bethpage Hosts Technology Fair for Nassau County Schools
Bethpage Schools was asked to host a Technology Fair by Nassau BOCES so students could demonstrate some of the unique ways in which they have used technology to advance learning. Over 50 people, mostly Directors of Technology from other school districts, attended. Students from both JFK Middle School and Bethpage High School showed off work done in Biotechnology, Digital Music, iPods and the study of Foreign Language, Polar Fitness Equipment and Physical Education, Astronomy Exploration and the Bethpage Internet Radio.
The meeting started with a discussion of the Bethpage network and an overview by Mr. Terry Clark, Assistant Superintendent for Instruction and Technology. Next up, the Bills-- Bill Evans and Bill Santoro-- demonstrated some unique features of how they maintain the network. They were a big hit withthe audience who left quite impressed with the entire Bethpage technology program.
Thanks to all the students, teachers and the Bills for their assistance!
