Students performing on stage

Members of the Bethpage High School Masquers Guild took the stage from March 21-23 for their musical production of “Catch Me If You Can.” The performances, which were held in the Bethpage Center for the Performing Arts, were directed by Zachary Levy and choreographed by Kaitlin Kramer.

With stand-out costumes and a spectacular set, the students told the story of a con artist named Frank Abagnale Jr., played by talented senior Matthew Schneider. Students entertained audience members through song and dance with numbers such as “Live in Living Color,” “Jet Set” and “Don’t Break the Rules.” The pit orchestra, directed by Dr. Eric Kay, performed in the upper level of the stage throughout the musical as they helped bring the story to life.

Michelle Kovacs served as the production’s vocal director, Michael Gamman served as production manager, Robert Verdi served as technical director and Michael McCourt served as stage crew director.

Congratulations to the entire cast, crew and pit on another outstanding musical production!
