Students on stage performing lion king

The stage is set as the Bethpage Elementary Masquers Guild proudly presents its production of “The Lion King Jr.”, which opened Wednesday, June 11, at the Bethpage High School Center for the Performing Arts and continues throughout the weekend.

This year’s show brings together 110 fourth- and fifth-grade students from Central Boulevard, Charles Campagne and Kramer Lane Elementary Schools. These young performers have spent months preparing - learning lines, mastering songs, perfecting choreography and diving into the spirit of theater. Now, they're ready to shine under the lights and share the magic with the community.

Behind the scenes, student directors from Bethpage High School and John F. Kennedy Middle School have been instrumental in guiding the cast. Meanwhile, members of the Bethpage High School stage crew are making it all possible from backstage—handling lighting, sound, set design and more.

There are still three performances left!

* Thursday, June 12 at 7:00 PM (Cast “Roar”)

* Saturday, June 14 at 12:00 PM (Cast “Pride”)

* Saturday, June 14 at 7:00 PM (Cast “Roar”)

Tickets can be purchased online via BookTix. Just click “View Performances,” select The Lion King Jr., choose your seats, and print your tickets at home or on your mobile device. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the door.
