It was a magical night of reading at CBS on Wednesday, March 29th. Families and students enjoyed an evening filled with literacy tasks in a fun engaging way. Themed rooms included the multi-sensory room with shaving cream letters and words, car games identifying words, and word cup games. The glow in the dark rooms were enjoyed with neon lights and breaking the code activities for all to enjoy. Our families and children joined in digital literacy activities, escape room adventures and played word building games. The Bethpage Librarians also joined the event and hosted a raffle for our students. The night ended in the gym where families cozied up with their children with a good book and snack. It was a wonderful evening of celebrating literacy with families! Thank you to CBS staff, PTA and families for joining us for this amazing event.
