Students in Ms. Whalen's Careers in Education class had the exciting opportunity to visit second-grade classrooms to teach a reading lesson. As they guided young learners through engaging stories and activities, they shared their passion for teaching and literacy. This weekend the Art Supervisors Association All-County Art Exhibit took place at Herricks HS. Bethpage student artists had 27 pieces in the exhibit! Congratulations to Gianna Fernandez, who won the ASA scholar artist recognition for her work and all our student artists featured in the exhibit. Special thank you to Dr. Kay and the Chamber Ensemble who performed music for the show! The best of Bethpage Fine & Performing Arts was on display this weekend!








A huge thank you to the CCS team for bringing families together to celebrate literacy and making this event so special! Families came together to share stories, engage in fun literacy activities, and foster a love for books. It was a night filled with learning, laughter, and connection, reminding us all of the power of reading to inspire and bring people together.


Mathemagicians at work! Brian Richards, a fun and entertaining mathemagician had K-5 students at Charles Campagne Elementary laughing and learning as numbers turned into magic.




4th graders in Mrs. Marcis' Science Enrichment lesson learned about kinetic and potential energy after making machines out of paper plates, a skewer, beads, a rubber band and a cup. So awesome!

The event wrapped up with a compliment web, where each student shared kind words with a classmate—proving that kindness is truly contagious! 🌟✨ A big thank you to our CCS families for joining us in making this morning so special!

Grades K and 3 had lots of fun the past few weeks learning how to program Beebots and Lego Spike Essential kits, and then watching their programming come "alive".

CCS classes worked together to read as many minutes as possible during November for PARP for a chance to pie Mrs. Ivers and Mrs. Inghilterra live on Wake Up CCS! Special thanks to Ms. Gallagher, Ms. Paraskakis and the TV club team for their enthusiasm and cooperation! Congrats to Cole and Emma for being the lucky students! The show was awesome. CCS welcomed Christopher Agostino who presented Story Faces to our students. He told stories while painting the faces of some very lucky students. He spoke about the importance of storytelling and it tied perfectly into PARP month!
