For months, these incredible Mathletes explored and researched math topics beyond their math class.  Supervised by Ms. Green and Ms. O’Sullivan, they submitted a research paper and presented their findings to a panel of judges and peers.

We are so very proud of their hard work, perseverance and passion for mathematics!  Their achievements serve as an inspiration to us all.

Here are each student’s research topic:

Diyaa Shah:  The Mathematics Behind Basketball

Ayana Garg:  Math in Construction of the Statue of Liberty

Niyumi Wijesundara:  Hidden Markov Model: A Powerful Framework for Solving Complex Problems

Aditi Sujin:  The Trachtenberg Method

Amiya and Sureena Kaur:  Cryptography: Unlocking the Unknown
