Fifth grade students at Kramer Lane enjoyed their week in the STEM lab learning about ecosystems.

Thank you to all who attended the Kramer Lane Annual Blood Drive. We set a record with 55 successful donations. Thank you to the fifth grade Little Doctors who assisted our donors.

Today was day 3 of Red Ribbon Week at Kramer Lane and students were excited to show off their crazy hair and hats today to emphasize the theme, “From head to toe I am drug free.” The creativity was out of this world!!

Kramer Lane continued Red Ribbon Week today with visitors from the BHS SADD Club who did wonderful presentations on making healthy choices with all 4th and 5th grade classes. Thank you Bethpage High School students!!

As part of their science unit, Grade 4 students had a memorable time examining our local ecosystem, Bethpage State Park. Various sections of the park were explored, including the Picnic area, Golf course, and “Discovery Center” (which has over 100 flora species, all labeled with identifying signage to familiarize students with different native plants).
A big thank you to the Bethpage Park ecologists which educated our students on how our park is an important biological community full of wildlife, greenery, and ponds that provide ecosystem services to the local suburban area and its inhabitants.

Harper and the rest of the Grade 3 students at Kramer Lane Elementary School were excited to receive their brand new district-issued touchscreen Google Chromebooks!

Kramer Lane kicks off Red Ribbon Week with pajama day’s theme “Don’t be caught sleeping, say no to drugs.” Lots of spirit around the school. Thank you PTA for the wonderful balloons.

Kramer Lane students learn about and celebrate Unity Day. Each student has a leaf on our Unity Tree which represents the Kramer Lane family and traits we believe in. Thank you all for wearing your orange today to celebrate!

1st graders in Ms. Matzelle’s class practicing keeping a steady beat with the “Pass the Bat” song!

Kramer Lane fifth graders enjoyed a classroom presentation from the New York Blood Center in preparation for our upcoming Blood Drive on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. Call 516-644-4500 if you would like to donate!!

Kramer Lane kindergarten students engaging in some fun October fall activities on this beautiful day.

Grades 3, 4, and 5 teachers from all Bethpage Elementary Schools had a great experience getting together to share curriculum ideas and train using the new LEGO Spike Essentials kits in the STEM Labs.

It’s professional development day for fifth grade teachers across the district training on the new Lego kits so they are ready to teach our students.

Kramer Lane had more than 100 students complete their summer math assignment. Upon completion their names were entered into a raffle. These are the lucky winners. Congratulations to all of the students!! Great work!

Bethpage Grade 4 students had a great time exploring different "waves" in our STEM Labs this week.

Kramer Lane students are off to a fantastic start to the school year! Everyone is busy learning and making new friends.

I hope everyone had a great first week back. So happy to see our students so happy.
