This weekend the Art Supervisors Association All-County Art Exhibit took place at Herricks HS. Bethpage student artists had 27 pieces in the exhibit! Congratulations to Gianna Fernandez, who won the ASA scholar artist recognition for her work and all our student artists featured in the exhibit. Special thank you to Dr. Kay and the Chamber Ensemble who performed music for the show! The best of Bethpage Fine & Performing Arts was on display this weekend!








Congratulations to Andres Bonetti (Grade 11) for earning a second place finish in Environmental Science at the JSHS Regional Semi Finals! He studied the effect of plants on reducing particulate matter levels in indoor spaces.

Challenger Basketball Homecoming game kicked off their season in front of a packed house. Our student athletes had a great time showing their skills and our supporters rocked the gym. The best day of the year. #WeAreBethpage






We are 3 weeks away from the Masquers Guild Production of “The Drowsy Chaperone” and tickets go on sale Wednesday! Each night will feature a cameo role by our very own elementary principals, so make sure to come out and show your support!




Ms. Villanueva and the French Club are hosting their bake sale after school with all proceeds to support their club. Crepes, Chocolate covered Strawberries, and Macarons... since I couldn't make up my mind, I had to get one of each!


Students in the BHS Careers in Education program visited JFK Middle School as student observers and teachers. This hands-on experience allowed them to engage with young learners, observe classroom dynamics, and practice essential teaching skills. Thank you to Mrs. Whalen for organizing this special event for our future educators.

Excellent Job to Bethpage HS Tri-M Music Honor Society for hosting their Annual Cabaret Night. The evening featured fantastic student performances w/ Madison Guevara serving as the emcee! Special thanks to Mr. Chiarello, Dr. Kay, Ms. Warnokowski, & Ms. Kovacs for their support!

Concert season continued last night with the BHS Orchestra and Chorus concert! It’s amazing to see the progress our students have made from elementary through high school. Stellar teaching and learning being done here!






BHS students participated in the Long Island STEM Career Expo at the Cradle of Aviation. Exhibitors, professions, and local colleges featured their career opportunities, conducted hands-on demonstrations, and showcased real-world applications of STEM.







Congratulations to Ava Mirabelli and Bambam Hattakitkosol on their stellar performances in the All-State ensembles this past weekend. They joined with the best young musicians across NY state for 3 days of rehearsals with world renowned conductors in Rochester at the annual NYSSMA Winter Conference. These rehearsals culminated in performances at the beautiful Eastman Theater!





Our BHS Science Research students were hard at work at Brookhaven National Labs' FIS beamline, where they will continue collecting data on their research studies the next few months. Thank you to our BHS Research teacher, Ms. Dulaney, for making the connection with the SPARK program to provide this exciting experience!




BHS students took a 2 day Intoduction to Composites course at the Cradle of Aviation, receiving 4 credits from Vaughn College. They learned about composite design, created their own composites, and composite repair.
