BHS students had a great experience at the 2025 L.I. Manufacturing Day, which was held at the Cradle of Aviation. Over 25 Industries from Long Island were there discussing various internship and job opportunities available for our students.

What a whirlwind of a weekend as Bethpage celebrated Safe Halloween on the Field Friday night followed by our Homecoming Parade and big win by BHS Football and concluded with induction of our our Class of 2025 BHS Hall of Fame members. It's great to be a Golden Eagle.

Professor David Auslander (Mechanical Engineering, University of California at Berkely) held a great talk for our BHS students! He talked about engineering topics such as feedback control and provided advice for aspiring engineering students. Professor Auslander (BHS class of 1957) will be inducted into the 2025 Bethpage Hall of Fame later today.

The Regal Eagles were invited to participate in Optimum's 2025 Technology Vendor Expo. The participating students provided robot demonstrations, networked with other vendors in attendance, and got an exclusive tour of News 12's Studios. AP Physics 2 students were challenged to design boats out of cardboard and masking tape to compete in the First Annual Cardboard Boat Regatta! Students had to calculate the maximum buoyant force exerted on their boats based on the predicted volume. Each group was required to have at least one student sit and paddle the boat across the pool.
