The Olympics have arrived at JFK's Social Club!
Students from JFK's National Junior Honor Society visited with Charles Campagne's 3rd, 4th and 5th grade classes to deliver an important lesson on bully prevention. The theme of the lesson helped students identify how they could "Be The Light" and shine bright for others by standing up for each other, sharing, listening, cheering someone on and showing kindness. Thank you to JFK School Psychologist , Mrs. Bristol, for helping to prepare the JFK students to deliver this important message!

Hunger Is Not a Game! As 8th Grade English classes are reading Suzanne Collins' The Hunger Games, they held a food drive to collect food items for St. Martin's Food Pantry. Students learned about the importance of combatting hunger in their own community and competed against other class periods to see who could donate the most. Mrs. Pelcher's 5th period class brought in over 200 non-perishable items! We are proud of all the students and thank every family who so graciously donated!
