On Wednesday, June 3, 2026, Mr. Carroll and Mr. Perez hosted a Science Research Expo for students and parents after school in the JFK cafeteria. During the Expo their Science Research students had the opportunity to explain their project topics, hypotheses, data collection and findings. It was a great turn out with some very impressive presentations! Awesome job!
Congratulations to Ms. Sol’s 1st period 8th grade Spanish class for tying for 2nd place globally in the "Marzo Loco" Hispanic Person of the Year bracket competition! They celebrated their big win with a special certificate and popular candies sent straight from Spain!

Ms. Sciara's 8th Grade Family and Consumer Science classes participated in their annual Cupcake Wars Challenge this week using their culinary skills to create unique themed cupcakes. JFK staff volunteered to judge the competition evaluating each teams cupcakes on their creativity and deliciousness!

Congratulations to 8th grader Akansha Raghavan who is the recipient of The Music Merit Scholarship for Usdan Camp for the Arts this summer. It is a prestigious, audition-based scholarship program that recognizes top talent among young instrumentalists, vocalists, and composers in the Long Island and New York City areas. Way to go Akansha!
For Mother’s Day, JFK's Social Club got creative and spent the afternoon designing personalized handbags for the special people in their lives. They also couldn’t let Cinco de Mayo pass without a little churro mix to celebrate!


Here at BHS Marine Fitness pancake breakfast fundraiser. They are open until 12 at the BHS cafeteria. Come on down.

Congratulations to the John F. Kennedy Middle School Faculty and Staff for winning the 2026 Autism Awareness Dodgeball Tournament. This marks John F. Kennedy's FIFTH triumph in this event as well as retaining the championship for a THREE-PEAT! Most importantly, it was another successful event raising over $4,300 to support the Extended School Year Program and spread awareness!

At last evening's BOE meeting at JFK, Ms. Hayes and our JFK students showcased examples from our STEAM electives. The students did a terrific job representing their classmates and our school programs.

At the April 21, 2026 Board of Education Meeting, students from John F. Kennedy facilitated a presentation to the Board of Education about the STEAM electives offered. Fantastic job to the participating students!

These students represented JFK at the Annual Kellenberg Math Tournament on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. They were truly impressive as they tackled complex problems, worked collaboratively,
and explained their solutions with poise, energy and determination. Special congratulations to Hamza Shakeel who won 2nd place in the Individual all around competition! On Tuesday, March 31st Mrs. Marinaccio's 8th grade Italian students attended the Italian musical production of Pinocchio at the Bayway Arts Center and then ate a delicious Italian meal at La Famiglia in Plainview! Students had a wonderful time!






Students from the Bethpage High School Regal Eagles came to JFK to support the Hackathon team ! 7th and 8th grader students prepared for their Hackathon competition on May 1st.
