On Wednesday, March 8, 2023, the Bethpage High School Robotics Team, Regal Eagles got a visit from Legislator Rose Walker and Legislator Laura Schaefer.
Regal Eagles Co-Captains Umesh Ponugupati and Riya Saha provided a presentation on the team's accomplishments during the 2022-23 season to date.
Afterwards, the team provided the legislators a tour of the robotics lab and a demonstration of this year's robot.
Bethpage Schools and the Regal Eagles would like to thank Legislator Walker and Legislator Schaefer for their visit, interest in the Regal Eagles, and their continued advocacy for robotics and STEM.
