The Bethpage High School Robotics Team, Regal Eagles, participated in the FIRST Robotics Competition Long Island Regional from Thursday, March 21, 2024 through Saturday, March 23, 2024. At the event, the Regal Eagles earned the following recognitions:
Engineering Inspiration Award which celebrates outstanding success in advancing respect and appreciation for engineering within a team's school community
#8 Seeded Alliance in Playoffs - eliminated in first round of playoffs
By earning the Engineering Inspiration Award, the Regal Eagles will be participating at the FIRST Robotics Competition World Championships from April 17, 2024 through April 20, 2024 in Houston, Texas with NASA covering the team's registration cost. This will mark the eighth straight year that the Regal Eagles have earned the right to participate at FIRST Robotics Competition World Championships (with championships not taking place in 2020 & 2021 due to coronavirus).
