Students at College Fair

Bethpage High School opened its college planning season on Sept. 8 with the first college fair of the year, held in the high school gym. Organized by head of guidance, Mr. Thomas Kenny, and his counseling team, the event was filled with representatives from dozens of institutions, including Penn State, Molloy, and most SUNY campuses – as well as schools from as far away as Florida.

Students packed the fair, many wearing college sweatshirts as they explored options and asked questions about applications, admissions and campus life. For seniors, the fair marked another step in an active fall of applications, while younger students began mapping out future possibilities for themselves.

This was just the first of series of fairs and college planning events scheduled for the upcoming months at Bethpage. Big thanks to our amazing counseling team for all the opportunities, support and guidance they give both our students and their families throughout this challenging (but exciting) process.
