Central Boulevard Elementary School kicked off its 2025-26 ride on the Energy Bus last week! Students and staff came together to celebrate teamwork, positivity and school spirit. The event marked the official start of this school year’s Energy Bus initiative, which focuses on creating a positive vision for the year ahead.
In preparation for the assembly, each class read “I Promise” by LeBron James and collaborated to write a class-wide promise to share with the CBS community. These commitments came to life during the debut of the school’s “We Promise” video, which featured every class. Students erupted in cheers as they spotted themselves on the big screen.
Members of the Energy Bus Student Committee, alongside Ms. Scotto and Dr. Ricci, introduced the first Energy Bus rule: Create a Positive Vision. The assemblies were filled with chants, dancing and laughter as students and staff officially “boarded the bus” together, setting the tone for a year of optimism and connection.
CBS looks forward to a year fueled by teamwork, problem-solving and joy - where every student helps drive the Energy Bus forward.
