Central Boulevard School rolled out the red carpet for its newest members on Thursday, Nov. 13, hosting a special ice cream social designed to help new students feel at home in their school community.
The welcoming event, held in the school cafeteria, was organized and led by a dedicated group of fourth grade student ambassadors who underwent special training to prepare for their hosting duties. These young leaders took their responsibilities seriously, personally crafting invitations and hand-delivering them to every classroom with new students.
During the social, students participated in interactive activities designed to break the ice and foster connections among peers. The carefully planned program included get-to-know-you games that encouraged conversation and friendship-building. New students also got to test their knowledge of Central Boulevard School through a fun scavenger hunt that helped familiarize them with important information about their new school.
The afternoon concluded on a sweet note as students enjoyed ice cream cups together, creating a relaxed atmosphere for continued conversation and connection.
CBS is very proud of its fourth-grade ambassadors for their leadership and dedication to making new students feel at home. We also extend a warm welcome to all our new students!
