The Bethpage High School varsity cheerleading team is heading to nationals after a season defined by dedication, teamwork and relentless preparation.
Throughout the fall, the squad has balanced dual priorities: executing fundraising initiatives to support their program while perfecting their competition routine. That commitment has paid off with an invitation to compete at the National High School Cheerleading Championship, scheduled to begin Jan. 30 at ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Florida.
The national championship represents the culmination of months of training, coordination and team building. For Bethpage's cheerleaders, earning a bid to this prestigious event reflects not only their athletic skill but also their ability to work cohesively toward a shared goal.
As the team prepares for their January trip to Florida, they carry with them the support of the Bethpage community and the pride of representing their school on a national stage. The National High School Cheerleading Championship brings together top teams from across the country, providing Bethpage's cheerleaders with an opportunity to showcase their talents against the nation's best.
The Bethpage school district extends its congratulations to the team on this remarkable achievement. We are proud of their hard work and excited to see them represent the district in Orlando. Best of luck to the team at nationals.
