Students in Bethpage Schools Argonaut Program recently took part in an exciting hands-on learning experience at the DNA Learning Center in Cold Spring Harbor.
During two interactive lab sessions, students explored the fundamentals of genetics by studying fruit fly traits and conducting a DNA extraction from wheat germ. This immersive experience brought classroom concepts to life and allowed students to engage directly with real-world scientific practices.
